A Reach Beyond The Surface is a newly formed organization based out of Illinois. A.R.B.T.S is made up of people dedicated to helping homeless, at-risk youth, the battered, the abused, the motherless, the fatherless, the addict, the depressed who are looking for H.O.P.E (Having Opportunities Provided to Everyone). We must REACH, REVIVE, RESTORE, so they can REPEAT the same process! This is how to bring change in the lives of others.
So often people tend to “look” at a person and form assumptions in ignorance, not understanding “their” story on how they became what they are.
We aren’t talking about the problem, but providing solutions by action in order to make our communities better. When they hurt we literally hurt, we take action with our resources in order to get them OUT from where they are.
We are dedicated to finding and providing resources, affordable housing, sufficient food and the chance to be who God has called them to be. A.R.B.T.S will work with, local churches, organizations, public education, supporters, the community, and direct services to ensure that these goals are reached.
Our foundation is Jesus Christ, and here are some scriptures that we base our foundation on:
Proverbs 28:27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
Proverbs 29:7 The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.
Proverbs 31:8-9 (KJV) Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. (9) Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Our motives are sincere. Why, because the found Alita McRae-Eagles understands what it really means to be in need and be in a situation where there is a lack of help. She understands the power of God’s love and how He always provides. She has dedicated herself to helping those who are in need so they don’t feel like they are alone. The organization isn’t looking to help others so it can be seen by men. We do this because we KNOW and FEEL their hurt. We help in action without assumptions.
As Christians, it is our duty to help others in need. If we claim to be like Christ, we need to DO as Christ did.
